Is SarPet free?
Yes. SarPet is free to download and use, with no account needed to start. An optional SarPet Premium subscription adds more features.
Which devices does SarPet work on?
iPhone with iOS 16.6 or later, and Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later. Interactive widgets and Siri phrases need iOS 17 or later. SarPet isn't available on Android yet.
Does SarPet work for cats as well as dogs?
Yes. SarPet is made for dogs and cats. Health records, reminders and care programs work for both; for cats, walks become play-time tracking.
Can SarPet read my pet's paper vaccination card?
Yes. Take a photo of the card and SarPet reads the vaccine names and dates. You review them before anything is saved, and the next doses can become reminders.
Can SarPet remind me about deworming and flea and tick treatments?
Yes. Internal and external parasite treatments go into the health file with their dose dates, and SarPet reminds you before the next dose is due.
How do I share my pet's records with my vet?
Create a time-limited link or QR code. Your vet opens it in a browser, with no app or account, and can suggest records that are only added once you approve them. You can revoke the link at any time.
Does SarPet use Apple Health?
Only for walks. On iPhone, SarPet reads walking distance for the time of a walk; on Apple Watch, a dog walk is saved to Health as an Outdoor Walk workout. No heart rate or routes, and Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
Is SarPet a replacement for a vet?
No. SarPet is a record-keeping and information tool. It doesn't diagnose and doesn't replace veterinary care; the emergency panel points you to your own vet and nearby clinics.
Which languages is SarPet available in?
English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese (Brazil). The app, its reminders and Siri phrases follow the language you choose in the app.
